MMPI Students should check your email for the session code that will be needed to proceed! You should have received 3 emails from us when you enrolled, and the 2nd email should begin with Thank You! will have the session code.
Once you complete the assessment questionnaire, please allow 24 to 48 hours for the assessment to be processed. If you do not hear from Dr. Parsons within 48 hours, give us a call. Any PSB-13 issued will be emailed to you directly from Dr. Parsons, but he needs time to do his assessment. Watch your spam and junk folders too.
This product is the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI). The new MMPI-3 is the most up-to-date personality assessment available for mental health, medical, forensic, and public safety settings. The test is modernized for today’s clients and provides new norms and updated items and scales.
STEP:1 To complete your assessment, read this entire page BUT finish reading the instructions before submitting the form or clicking the link to the assessment.
STEP 2: Retrieve your session code from the email sent to you after completing your assessment purchase. We recommend copying (right click, copy) directly from that email. You may take the MMPI Assessment in English or Spanish.

Step 4: Why is the MMPI required?
Harkins Security now provides access to the required MMPI Assessment in accordance with HB 3424 Effective September 1, 2023.
Caption: Relating to the eligibility and training requirements for commissioned security officers and personal protection officers.
- Beginning January 1, 2024
- Requires that self-defense tactics are included as part of the basic training course for commissioned security officers and personal protection officers.
- Handgun proficiency and self-defense courses must be completed in-person with an on-site instructor approved by the Department.
- All original and renewing applicants for a commissioned security officer license are required complete the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI).
Step 6: This MMPI is facilitated by Dr. Bruce Parsons, Clinical Psychologist and will perform the assessment and provide documentation required for the application process submission to Texas Department of Public Safety in accordance with his findings.
