If your Level III training did not offer the Live Defensive Tactics training then don’t worry.  Harkins Security now offers a stand alone course (to supplement training received elsewhere) which includes 1o hours Defensive Tactics training with your instructor to complete the Level III required training.  This course is specifically for students that need to supplement other training with the required 10 hour Live Instruction Defensive Tactics element as required by the new TxDPS regulations.  During this course, you will receive 10 hours instruction in defensive tactics and will attend the range proficiency demonstration for those students needing to qualify with pistol and/or shotgun.

Once your order is placed, the instructor will contact you to schedule a mutually agreeable time to conduct the course of fire requirement at the range.  $20 range fee plus sales tax is required and will be collected at the range.  Gun rentals and ammunition are available at the range (subject to supply availability).  An additional $30 range fee is required for shotgun qualifications.  It is highly encourage to bring your firearms and ammunition to the Private Range Time sessions.
